Auto Glass Applications
The FEIN SuperCut FSC 1.6 has become a classic tool with respect to the removal of rigidly-bonded automobile windows. With special FEIN cutter blades matched to specific car models, hardened polyurethane beads can be cut through quickly, safely and without damage to the glass or the car body. Once the pane has been removed, the blade is simply switched, and the bead residue is trimmed before the new pane is bonded into place.

The FEIN SuperCut FSC 1.6 also saves a considerable amount of work as a chassis saw. As the saw blade does not rotate, no flying sparks are generated, meaning the risk of injury can be practically ruled out. The HSS saw blades cut though the body panels up to 1 mm thick, as well as load-bearing chassis sections made of double sheet metal. Plastic and fiberglass can also be cut through at a rapid rate. The FSC 1.6 is also ideal for fine chassis work such as grinding and polishing.
